Our programs are designed to encourage and restore hope in cancer patients and caregivers when they arrive home. When receiving conventional cancer treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and more) a person can feel hopeless, not seeing a clear way through. Our programs are designed to restore hope and confidence in the days ahead.
Each program, provides cancer patients and caregivers with essential non-medical emotional and financial support, helping them heal from the hospital to the home. By supporting families in this capacity a foundation is laid allowing families to focus on fighting cancer. We believe families battling cancer should not have to fight at the hospital and the home. We've designed three core programs that will allow cancer patients and caregivers to focus on fighting cancer:
Comfort Kit's: Our comfort kits are personalized care packages that allows cancer patients and caregivers to promote self-care and self-love while fighting cancer. They include items such as soaps, bath salts, body creams, teas, journals, crafts and more that soothes both the mind and body so that one can rest and refocus.
Financial Support: Our financial support assists cancer patients and caregivers with transportation assistance in the form of rides and fuel cards. In addition to this, we assist with the utilities of families to ensure they will always have working water, gas, electricity, and phone services.
Patient Advocacy: Through patient advocacy we build stable relationships with our families, so they never feel alone. We offer our families a safe space to share their deepest concerns and their greatest victories. We assist our families with navigating their cancer journey, advocating for them during each step and connecting them with the best resources to fight cancer.
